Day 14: Zoya- Posh

The nail polish world has been going Matte crazy recently and most brands have released their own Matte shades. Posh was released with 2 other shades (Loredana, Dovima) from the Zoya Matte Velvet Fall collection.

The Matte velvet polishes have very fine shimmer to them so they kind of have a satin finish to them. These polishes are easy to apply and dry very quickly.

Day 13: Zoya- Lily

Lily was one of my first Zoya's and it is probably still one of my favourite Zoyas.
Its a very soft pink with silver/green shimmer to it. It is easy to apply taking only 2 coats to be opaque.

Zoya have some fantastic new colours coming out in their Flash and Sparkle collections and I cannot wait for these!

Day 12: Rimmel Lasting Finish- Green Grass

I'm not really fussed on this colour, I normally like greens but this colour didn't really appeal to me at all. Think I may give this one away...

Day 11: Ulta3- Pink Supreme

I am still undecided on Ulta3 Polishes, they get rave reviews from lots of Aussie girls in forums and on blogs but I haven't been that impressed, maybe it was the colours I got...

This ones is cute but I’m pretty easily impressed when it comes to pink. This one applied easily but took 3 coats.

Day 10: Rimmel Lasting Finish- Electric! and China Glaze Tinsel

This is another of the Rimmel Lasting Finish polishes I picked up the other day. It's a purple-pink cream and I decided to have a little fun with it and add a silver glitter tip with China Glaze Tinsel.

Day 9: China Glaze- Something Sweet

Another one from China Glaze's Up & Away collection, Something Sweet is a soft pink cream.
It is easy to apply but took 3 coats to be completely opaque.

China Glaze is fast becoming my favourite brand of polish, the colour range is great and they do some fantastic glitters (Love Glitters!).

Day 8: Rimmel Lasting Finish- Exotica

I picked up a few of these Lasting Finish Polishes at Kmart for $2.75, they were a bargin and are a pretty good polish. Exotica is a vampy Rust Red with a Gold shimmer though it. I think this will be a great colour for winter.

Day 7: China Glaze- Coconut Kiss + Nail Art

My first attempt at pics of my toes, they do not photograph well! They are painted in China Glaze Coconut Kiss the nail tech that did my Pedicure did some nail art on my big toe nails too.

Close up pic of the nail art on my big toe.

Day 6: Essie- Steeling the Scene + Nail Art

I had a manicure and pedicure today. I took my own polish for my mani which was Essie Steeling the scene. Steeling the scene needs 3 coats to look good as it is quite sheer.

After the nail tech had painted my nails he asked if he could do a design, which is above. I think it looks cute and nail art is something I would like to play around with more. I have some Konad plates but am yet to get the hang of using them!

Day 5: China Glaze- Passion in the Pacific

Passion in the Pacific is a Teal Blue Shimmer Polish. It's not a colour I would normally choose but I'm glad I did. It's a fun colour for summer. I find pretty much all the China Glaze Polishes I own apply really easy, this one needs 3 coats for the best coverage.

Day 4: OPI That's Berry Daring

This is one of my favourite polishes, unfortunately this photo doesn't do the colour justice. It is actually a little deeper and has a shimmer to it. I am finding it hard to take accurate pictures but I’ll keep trying!

Day 3: China Glaze- Peachy Keen

Another from the new polish from the China Glaze Up & Away Collection.
This pic does not show the true peach shade of Peachy Keen, in real life it is brighter and much more orange. This one was a little streaky to apply but I didn't have that problem with Heli-Yum.
So far i'm loving the shades in Up & Away and can't wait to try them all. It's not often that I like every colour in a collection.

Day 2: Art Deco- 114 (Orange Shimmer)

I have left it a little late to do this tonight so the lighting was pretty bad for the picture.

I picked up a few Art Deco brand Nail Polishes when I was in Cologne in Germany a few weeks back. I hadn't taken any polishes with me (bad idea!) so my nails were in terrible condition and I needed to put something on them so I bought a Pink Polish and Top Coat (they didn't have a base coat). The Polish is ceramic based so they wear quite well. I went back the next day and picked up 4 more colours.

I'm trying to expand on the colours that I purchase as I was mainly going for pinks and purples so when I saw this Orange I thought it was perfect and will be a great summer colour.

What are your favourite polish colours??

Day 1: China Glaze- Heli-Yum

Due to finding myself with an ever expanding collection of Nail Polish, I have decided I should actually try and wear them all... at least once over the next 365 days.

My aim is to post each day with a different nail or toe nail colour, nail art or my thoughts on up coming collections.

So today I start with one of my recent purchases Heli-Yum from China Glaze's latest collection Up & Away. You will probably be seeing a few colours from this collection over the next few months as I liked them all so much I bought the whole collection!

Heli-yum is a gorgeous raspberry pink creme this picture doesn't quite show how deep the colour is.
I used to be mainly into Shimmers but I'm starting to experiment more and I really like the way the creme polishes look.

I'm off to go and decide what colour I will use tomorrow...
